    Description

      Metricbeat is not able to parse the metrics provided by MP Metrics because for some metrics the type is emitted multiple times, e.g. gc.total.

      OpenLiberty had the same problem:https://github.com/OpenLiberty/open-liberty/issues/11364

      It seems to be fixed with: https://github.com/smallrye/smallrye-metrics/commit/b4b159f9ac8ee714962f59fab199a98147f210c6
