    Description

      • For at least 2 years, we faced the issue "JBAS013323: Invalid User" for our "Calypso" application. Somehow the user is unable to be authenticated inside JBoss and there is a brief period where the data server cannot process anything, causing missed messages, events, frozen navigator, etc.
      • Doing some research, there is a similar issue reported to JBoss: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1374843. This has been fixed on JBoss 6.3.3.
        Since we had previous failed trials for a JBoss upgrade, it may not be possible to upgrade JBoss at this moment, but it could be possible to upgrade the picketbox library, which is the library that causes the issue.
      • We wanted to reproduce the issue in a dev/test environment but with no luck. We found a test program here (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBWS-3843) but the steps to reproduce this are not very well documented.
