The EAP 7.x is missing XML schema file docs/schema/jboss-web_7_2.xsd and related version handling code in org.jboss.metadata.parser.jbossweb.JBossWebMetaDataParser.
This schema file was introduced in EAP 6.3 so it should be available in 7.x stream too.
