C-Huff wrote an article that is related to preventing EAP installation issues. This content should probably go in both the GSG and the IG.

IRC chat (for jogging memories )
<bprioux> c-huff, sjay - I would want each numbered item worked into the exact correct places in whatever the EAP install/configure guide is.
<sjay> bprioux, +1
<bprioux> sjay, c-huff - i hate the "quick start" title, but if that is the install/config docs, there.
<bprioux> and if both quick start & some other EAP doc defines install/config, put in both places until we cut one.
<sjay> we have Getting Started and Installation
<bprioux> sjay, c-huff - i also hate redundance, hard to maintain.
<c-huff> sorry to create a stir
<sjay> c-huff, refining our docs is not a stir
<bprioux> c-huff, no, no, the base docs really do need this info, even if it can change.
<bprioux> c-huff, i know some of this isn't directly EAP, but it all prevents EAP problems...
<c-huff> yeah
<bprioux> so should be part of EAP setup instructions.
<sjay> I will go ahead a create a JIRA...
<bprioux> we need to not silo the docs...
<bprioux> if we know ways to help people avoid problems, we need to document them.
<bprioux> c-huff, thank goodness for your support brain & knowledge.
<bprioux> sjay, thx for the jira.
