[DOC] misleading link for ALPN configuration in configuration guide

XMLWordPrintable

In Configuraiton guide in section Configure HTTP/2, there is a warning note that describes ALPN risks regarding to the JDK in use. In the paragraph that talks about JDK8 in last sentence, there is a link how to install Apache HTTP Server Installation Guide.

When using Java 8, the ALPN implementation is introduced directly into JBoss EAP with dependencies on Java internals. Therefore, this ALPN implementation only works with Oracle and OpenJDK. It does not work with IBM Java. Red Hat strongly recommends that you utilize ALPN TLS protocol extension support from the OpenSSL provider in JBoss EAP, with OpenSSL libraries that implement ALPN capability. Using the ALPN TLS protocol extension support from the OpenSSL provider should result in better performance. The supported OpenSSL libraries are the ones that are available from JBoss Core Services. Instructions to install and configure these libraries are available in the Apache HTTP Server Installation Guide.

This link is not adequate as with these steps customer is guided to install whole Apache HTTP product, although all he need is just a small subset of that. Correct link would be to point to the section already included in our configuration guide A.36. Install OpenSSL from JBoss Core Services. Although, few lines later, there is already such link provided in this sentence:

Instructions for installing OpenSSL are available in Install OpenSSL from JBoss Core Services.

I think we should remove link to the Apache HTTP Server Installation Guide from the warning note paragraph.
