The 'JBoss Security Cheat-Sheet' by Param Jindal has a great diagram (see below) illustrating a lot of the different areas where SSL/TLS can be configured for a JBoss EAP server, along with links to various articles for instructions for each part.

I propose we include a similar diagram in the EAP documentation (possibly in the Security Architecture guide?) done by the graphics team, with links to the documentation for each SSL/TLS configuration.

There would need to be some alterations done to the diagrams content (e.g. SSL for standalone vs domain servers, load balancing with a JBoss EAP Undertow server, etc), but the original diagram is a good starting point.

As an enhancement that has been marked as 'Minor' we won't be able to get to this before we start working on EAP 8 work so I'm closing this issue.

bcmaxwel do you think this would make a good KCS article? I think it makes more sense there than in the documentation.

ccopello - This JIRA opened by Lucas is assigned to you and targeted to 7.2.0.GA at this time. Given where we are in the release and the writer constraints, do you think it appropriate to move the Target Release to CD 15/7.3?

lcosti.redhat - Thanks for this good idea. Graphics convey a lot of information quickly, and I think this will be a good addition to one of the security guides.
