Usage of term "respectively" - Sentence may need to be rephrased

The following was fixed in EAP 6.4 docs by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1263497. Should be fixed in 7.0 and 7.1 too.

Describe the issue:
In the following sentence: "The @ClassBridge respectively @ClassBridges annotations can be defined at class level (as opposed to the property level)."

the word "respectively" seem inappropriate, could the sentence be rephrased/explained please?
