brian.stansberry has provided the following feedback for the "Server Management" section of the release notes:
1) Starting Servers in a Suspended State
The CLI command there is fine, but showing how to start a standalone server would be good too:
bin/standalone.sh --start-mode=suspend
2) Improved Resource Monitoring for Slave Host Controllers
"In JBoss EAP 7.1, host controllers that are configured as slaves can ignore resources that are not required in the domain-wide configuration using..."
perhaps...
"In JBoss EAP 7.1, host controllers that are configured as slaves can ignore resources in the domain-wide configuration that are not required on the host using..."
Also
"the ignore-unused-configuration attribute within the domain-controller/remote element in the domain.xml or host.xml file"
The "domain.xml or" should be removed.
Also
"This allows slave to start"

3) Host Controllers Using a Cached Configuration Automatically Reconnect to the Domain Controller
No big deal but this item reads a bit like the user must use --cached-dc for a slave to reconnect to a master if the master goes down and comes back up. But actually a slave not using --cached-dc that started when the master was up will reconnect if the master bounces. That's always been the case. The -cached-dc lets you start the slave in the first place without the master running. What's new is a slave started that way will connect later if it can.
