SSO with Kerberos guide review feedback

    XMLWordPrintable

Description

    For https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEAP-11970, did a review of the How to set up SSO with Kerberos guide. Some minor updates were submitted through that JIRA, but here are the rest of the outstanding items from the review:

    1. Step 3 of "Example: Security Domain with Remoting and RealmDirect Login Modules" seems to repeat itself:
      • "Configure the HTTP connector in the remoting subsystem to use the security realm"
      • "In addition, you will need to configure the http connector in the remoting subsystem to use the newly created security realm."
    2. "The client starts by passing to the destination server the ST, which also contains the server component of the session information, it received from the TGS for that destination."
      • Wording could be improved
    3. "which is governed by the Kerberos"
      • Should this be governed by Kerberos, or governed by the Kerberos <something>
    4. "For example, if you are using {ProductShortName}

      7.0.0, which uses JBoss Negotiation `3.0.2.Final-redhat-1`, you should use `jboss-negotiation-toolkit-3.0.2.Final.war`."

      • This should be updated to the proper versions for EAP 7.1
    5. "2.4. Configuring the JBoss EAP Instance"
      • All this section has is an IMPORTANT note. I think that this should just be regular text.
      • Also recommend providing links to the two sections (elytron and legacy) so the user can jump right to the one they want.
