Description
Some EAP guides default to showing standalone versions of CLI commands and point to the CLI guide for using the CLI for a managed domain (for example here [1]).
It would be nice to add a small section to the CLI guide about the differences in CLI commands for standalone vs. domain mode and common ways to change a standalone command to be appropriate for a managed domain. For example, things like:
- Adding "/profile=PROFILE_NAME" in front of a "/subsystem=..." command
- Adding "/host=HOST_NAME" in front of core management commands, etc.
- Mentioning that some commands will require a host (--host), but they'll error with a message that it's required
- Some runtime commands will require /host=HOST_NAME/server=SERVER_NAME in front, like viewing logs
