PicketLink component (2.5.5.CR1) has following issues:

• main module needs fix [1] for SAML federation to work
• federation bindings module jar needs fix for SAML STS to work

From the user perspective, the SAML federation IdP/SP/STS do not work (because of the mentioned issues).

Pedro is working on it. Fixes are ready for the next release in the upstream.
