Based on stats and general crazy interests dark themes like provided by http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/eclipse-moonrise-ui-theme and basic Eclipse Luna dark theme we should check if we have some obvious glitches when eclipse is switched to dark theme.

[JBDS-3122] Test/ensure devstudio works with dark themes as built into eclipse luna or moonrise plugin

Closing. A lot of these issues has been fixed in last couple of releases mostly on Eclipse side, please create new issues if needed.

Still some issues - as of JBDS 9.0.CR2 - see attached screen shots annotated with red arrows.

            ldimaggi@redhat.com could you:

            A) confirm that you have done a full restart after applying the theme ?
            B) confirm you are using an eclipse version M7 or higher to test this ? using JBDS is using older versions that dont have the most recent black theme fixes.
            C) instead of adding screenshots to this jira, create a jira for the related component and link it to this issue. Otherwise those with the ability to fix these issues wont see it.

This (incorrect colors) is still a problem for:

            Version: 9.0.0.Beta1
            Build id: Beta1-v20150512-1045-B3188
            Build date: 20150512-1045

See the attached screenshots - note that the radio buttons are not displayed at all when the user must select a runtime during project creation.

Len, check the screenshot, colors are not correctly applied on Linux, that's the major reproducible issue here why not to use it.

Followup question for Jirka - apart from the non-reprodicible issue that you list above - were there any other issues?

I guess it was one time freeze (I had to kill the process). Unable to replicate it again. I was testing moonrise and moonrise standalone installed from this site (https://raw.github.com/guari/eclipse-ui-theme/master/com.github.eclipseuitheme.themes.updatesite)

btw. what theme are you testing ? eclipse built in one or the moonrise plugin ?

how long is "a while" ? a few seconds are expected, nothing more. If it is longer please grab a thread dump to see if we can find the culprit.
