In installation guide, in section 2.2.2. Configuring the Apache HTTP Server Installation (RPM Installation), there is subsection Removing SSL Support where is showed command for removing mod_ssl package. Name of the package is although wrong for jbcs:

# yum remove mod_ssl

but should be:

# yum remove jbcs-httpd24-mod_ssl
