The question was raised a long time ago about adding the init scripts to the RHEL zip distributions, but was rejected. I don't see any reason why we couldn't ship them, so I'm opening a requirement to get it done (after talking with rhn-engineering-jdoyle), or at least start a conversation about doing it as there have been customers requesting this 'feature'.
