"very interested to see if a new method could be introduced to the Apache community as a possible improvement. We have a real need to be able to encode a path that includes the JSESSIONID part, ie JSESSIONID=6736bcf34;foo=aabfa. We want to ask, whether such an improvement method (call it anything you want, encode_sticky() etc) to handle the additional sticky session path is possible."

Customer is working on custom module and requires additional API functionality to handle paths with inline session ID's

No, customer has workaround but wanted to file this suggestion to help improve product.
