mod_jk in JWS 3.0.3 causes segfault during service restart in Windows

    • User Experience
      1. Setup JWS 3.0.3 connecting httpd to tomcat8 via mod_jk. Install both httpd and tomcat8 as a service.
      2. Deploy an application and visit the page (a sample application is attached)
      3. Restart the Apache http service

      Restarting while mod_jk.so is loaded causes access violation (segfault) on Windows Server 2012 R2. A report is created in the Windows Application Event log.

      The Apache error_log has no mention of the event occurring.

      A sample App Event Log entry and relevant lines from Apache httpd's error_log are attached.
