Log file jboss.log gets truncated after restarting the server

      1. In the logging.properties file set handler.FILE.append=true.
      2. Start the server and watch its jboss.log file.
      3. After the server is started, restart it.
      4. A new portion should be appended to the jboss.log file. Instead, the file gets truncated.

      Every time the server is restarted its log file jboss.log gets truncated even when the "append" property is set to true (handler.FILE.append=true) in the logging.properties file.
