    Description

      According to:
      http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossProjectVersioning

      The final (GA) version must not contain GA in the zipped distro filename.

      I suppose it won't matter whether GA will appear in the unzipped base directory, or this needs to be clarified.

      The produced maven artifacts will maintain the GA, AFAICT.
