It would be great if the deployer for Web Applications would precompile JSPs when an application is deployed. This setting could perhaps be specified in the jboss-web.xml and default to not precompile. Basically the pre-complier could just walk the WAR and compile all the JSPs it encounters that are out of date when the app is getting deployed.

I've heard this request from a few different people.
