    Description

So, I've been trying to figure out how to use custom JSF component libs in JBoss. This has come up because I need to use a Tomahawk component in the Issue Tracker demo (yes, I *really need it).

The only way I could figure out how to make this work was to edit

      server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\conf\web.xml

      and put the jar in

      server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\jsf-libs

So this solution means that the seam issue tracker is not drop-in deployable in JBoss AS. The demo will be attached shortly.

      Three distinct possibilities arise:

      (1) there is an easy way to do this
      (2) This problem only affects Tomahawk, because of direct dependencies to MyFaces impl
      (3) This problem affects any custom JSF component lib and we need to rethink how we integrate MyFaces into JBoss at some stage
