The prerequisites are

• a build of jbossws1.0 that strips out the jdk5 dependencies using retroveaver or some javassit based tool
• a backport of jbossws1.0 to the 4.0 branch
• update the testsuite to work with the different versions that can exist in the compatibility test run mode
• a link to the jbossws1.0 release as a dependency for the jbossas-4.0.4 release.
