The 3.2 "jmx-console" is improved over the 4.0 console. Aside from look and feel issues, it should be forward ported to 4.0 and HEAD.

There are probably some small changes I would recommend to make to the ported 3.2 version.

1. Fix wrapping with <pre> blocks that are too long (causes the "Apply" button to vanish)
2. Ensure that < > & " (XML) characters are correctly escaped for all displayed values
3. I would also recommend printing the ObjectName so that it can be cut/pasted easily in the "inspect" window.
