The implementations will delegate the actual work to TransactionImpl instances. Besides the similarity in their interfaces, remoting-based DTM objects (Resource, Coordinator, etc.) must be similar to OTS objects also in that their references (proxies) are convertible to strings and vice-versa. This will be needed for logging.
