When a redeployment is done and references to a UCL class loader from the previous deployment exist, any attempt to use the UCL results in a NullPointerException because the association between the UCL and its repository have been cleared. A standard ClassNotFoundException with the trace of where the UCL was unregistered would be a better choice.
