Update Lucene Directory to work with newer Lucene versions v.3.0.x

Current implementation is being tested only towards Lucene 2.4.1; Lucene developers have just released 2.9.1 and version 3 is coming very soon.
It should be possible to have a single version supporting all of them, but needs separate tests.
