Currently the configuration API for adding stores and loaders has the following problems:

• does not differentiate between stores and loaders, which means that users can set nonsense attributes on loaders (like locking and async stores)
• uses abstract classes instead of interfaces
• is not flexible enough to support custom configuration builders for stores and loaders outside core
• erroneously refers to the AsyncStore as AsyncLoader
