When a transaction validation fails on the local cluster, the originator is not waiting for the cross-site response and aborts the transaction immediately. In addition, it may not send the rollback command to the remote site, depending on where the validation failure occurs. 

It requires the following changes: always wait for the cross-site prepare reply and always send the rollback command to the remote site (even if unnecessary).
