The method thenComposeBlocking for the BlockingManger is a bit counter intuitive as the thenCompose method clearly defines a way to operate in a non blocking fashion. However, it is possible we may need to invoke alien code that we can't control when and if it blocks. Thus it can be beneficial to have this method as well.
