      DEPENDENCY UPDATE: based on the analysis in the comment let's address (finish) this issue when the backend change is in rawhide and gets into DVD iso so it can be tested manually by testing with Gtk UI.

      Anaconda is applying ONBOOT policies on network connections differing by os variant (RHEL vs Fedora).
      Make sure these are handled correctly for the change in INSTALLER-3088 - removed default profiles.
      Look at kickstart tests if they don't regress and if the feature can be tested specifically.

      Follow-up / optional: review if the policy mechanism is still valid and can be potentially removed.
