      User Stories:

As a developer, I want to use our existing upstream tests in downstream gating, so that we can create one test to cover both upstream and downstream testing.

As a QE, I want to use existing upstream tests in downstream gating, so that I can save time duplicating upstream tests downstream and know that the feature is not broken in upstream before next branching.

      Description:

We want to unify our upstream/downstream testing to be able to share the same set of tests between RHEL and Upstream. This should safe our capacity by avoiding duplication and it will allow to focus on having the tests coverage on Upstream during the feature development before it will get to RHEL at all.

This specific feature is another step that direction which is to run kickstart tests on downstream gating. This issue will further allow us to drop duplicate tests and start migrating downstream tests to upstream.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • At least one test from kickstart-test repository is executed on RHEL-10 gating.
