We want to be able to test installations that (correctly) refuse to install early in the installation process - in the initramfs phase.
Examples of such installations:
- Unable to download a kickstart file from a self-signed HTTPS server (without using inst.noverifyssl on the kernel cmdline)
- Unable to resolve host names using an encrypted DNS server signed by a custom certification authority without providing the CA certificate in the kickstart file.
The idea is to be able to parse the early installation messages (implemented in INSTALLER-4156) and search for a pre-defined pattern that's part of the test.
If such a pattern is found in the boot messages, the test is marked as passed.
