      User Stories:

As a QE, I want to share tests with upstream project, so that I can avoid duplication and free up our resources.

As a developer, I want to share tests with downstream testing, so that I can avoid duplication see the breakages soon.

      Description:

Find out how we can use Web UI testing we have to cover release criteria in Fedora for the installer. The goal here is if we are able to share our effort with Fedora QE which is using OpenQA.

Most probably, we are not able to replace OpenQA nor Web UI tests but we should be able to minimize the duplication.

The outcome should be a description of the plan how to achieve this.

Some more notes from the meetup:

      • Setup our Web UI test(s) as compose gating
      • (Optional) Setup our Web UI test(s) as package gating
      • Find one( ?) test case/release criteria we will cover in the compose gating as PoC

      Acceptance criteria:

      • Mutual agreement on future collaboration on sharing the testing effort.
      • Mutual agreement on covering the release criteria (how it could be achieved).
      • There are action items created for future implementation (ideally in JIRA).
