The patch frontend could be potentially merged into the content frontend and would improve maintainability further if they're in one github repository, have less dependency bumps, and less CIs to monitor.

We should investigate whether this is worth the effort, keeping in mind the changes to CI/CD and package manager migration (npm to yarn) that would be required.
