      The custom partition table generator uses this getPartitionTypeIDfor() function to set partition type IDs (GUIDs) based on the Discoverable Partition Specification (DSP). However, our static image definitions don't follow the DSP. For example, root partitions are set as data partitions. While this is not, strictly speaking, invalid, it would be a lot better if we followed the DSP completely.

      The simplest solution would be to remove all static GUIDs from the image definitions and use the getPartitionTypeIDfor() function in our static partition table generator as well.
