Goal:

• Image Builder always builds the "latest stable" RHEL minor release
• Compliance policies are bound to given minor versions
• Over time, a Blueprint can drift and the build can fail because the policy's minor version doesn't match Image Builder's minor version
• We need to fix this problem through
  • Making it easy for customer to upgrade/version-bump their policy OR
  • Automatically updating the policy in the background OR
  • At least displaying a helpful error message

Acceptance Criteria:

• Customers can keep building images and if a minor version drift happens at least get good guidance on how to resolve the problem

Open questions:

• Which of the solutions above is the most customer friendly?
