After running the conversion in Insights on a Centos 7.9 vagrant box, insights reported the kernel version was out of date and there were out of date packages. After resolving the issues and re-running the task, the insights UI reported "Exiting because distribution = "" and version = "". Looking into the system, it was found that the os/release file was no longer present. I tried to reproduce this issue but could not attain the same scenario so it could be a one off case.
