The IPI detailed workflow is missing in our OCP documentation. In restricted and controlled 5G environments the governments and customers are very keen on understanding the workflow - even though it is automated - to make sure that proper ports are allowed on the firewall or to challenge the use of insecure ports.

Technical team from our customer side especially the design authority and operation teams love to delve into the details of the IPI deployment workflow as it gives them a sense that our delivery teams are on top of the deployment details in case things go south during installation.

We prepared a draft document containing the details of IPI workflow that was reviewed by our baremetal engineering team. I am attaching the final document that takes into account all comments.
