Hawkular metrics consuming high cpu

Hi,

We are running hawkular metrics with Cassandra in openshift environment 3.5 environment.

We observed that the hawkular metrics pod is consuming more CPU (more than 80%) . Got the below error during compression cycles. Any idea on how to control the CPU usage?
