Console Sprint 2023-12
Description of problem:
In ROSA Hypershift cluster wizard > Under machine pool step, User is only able to select the private subnet from list of subnet name for machine pool set. The same case even for public subnet under networking step too. Once user reaches to "Review and create" page, the private and public subnet values are represented as subnet ids. This create confusions as user never know if the selected subnet names in previous steps are correctly mapped with subnet ids.
This needs to be fixed and we would recommend to use private/public subset names (or whatever values chosen by user in previous step) to show under "review and create" step.
See the recording attached : ReviewCreateSubnetRepresentations.mp4
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch OCM UI staging
- Open ROSA Hypershift wizard.
- Reach to machine pool step after filling required values in each step.
- Select VPC and select the private subnet names for machine pool.
- Go to next step, Select public subnet names for public privacy option.
- Reach to "Review and create" step after filling required values in each step.
- Verify the subnet values from "Review and create" step.
Actual results:
User has chosen the private subnet names for machine pool step and public subnet names from networking step. But once they reached to "Review and create" step, all the chosen subnet definitions are replaced by subnet ids. This is confusing and user has no way to know if the selected names are mapped correctly with ids.(other than login to AWS side and verify)
Expected results:
The private/public subset names (or whatever values chosen by user in previous step) should show under "review and create" step.
