HAC Infra OCM - Sprint 227, HAC Infra OCM - Sprint 228, HAC Infra OCM - Sprint 229
We currently do not track document link clicks in the ROSA wizard. This is crucial to help understand the impact of documentation links that we include within the wizard.
As an example, we are looking at removing the bulk of the prerequisite section from the ROSA wizard and it would have been helpful to be able to compare the conversion rates of users that click on doc links vs those that do not.
We should start with the doc links of the wizard and then expand from there. jlucky@redhat.com can help provide the correct event data/format to ensure we have a common event for doc link clicks and then use metadata to identify which link was clicked and on what wizard step.
I imagine we can update ExternalLink component and if href is one of `links...DOCS` tracking/send analytics on click:
<ExternalLink href={links.ROSA_CLI_DOCS}>Help</ExternalLink>
- Check with jlucky-quota if we need to setup tracking metadata tags/props ("MOA === ROSA", etc) within ExternalLink, also what event name he may want to use. Ex: 'DOC_LINK_CLICKED'?
