As reported on Slack, LoadBalancers from cloud providers can be expensive, and they are not available in all cloud environments:

We should thus enable the Argo CD Agent principal service to be exposed via a passthrough Route.

Since a passthrough route is not exactly the same as a loadbalanced service, we should also verify that the passthrough route worked as expected, and that our documentation is updated to provide an example of how it can be used.
