Epic Goal

• Now that the sharding API has been extended, it is possible to augment Argo-CD sharding capabilities by proposing different algorithms and smarter behaviour

Why is this important?

• This improves user performance
• It can enlarge the customer base by proposing sharding algorithm adapted to difference usages (stability vs responsiveness vs configurability etc....)
• It increases our team visibility upstream by working on to the edge feature that can be profitable to a wider set of customers
