Additional Info

Users can use additional git repo source in a multi-source application to keep image update data. This is already supported with git-repository and git-branch annotations in application. See image-updater docs: https://argocd-image-updater.readthedocs.io/en/latest/basics/update-methods/#git-write-back-target. But the user is complaining that the new updates in the target git repository is not sync'ed up to the running app.

Need to investigate if the reported problem is real, and if so fix it.
