      Epic Goal

      Bump the version of kustomize that we ship with OpenShift GitOps.

      Why is this important?

      A customer is running into an issue with Kustomize that has been fixed in a recent version upstream. They are requesting that we bump the version of Kustomize that we ship with OpenShift GitOps so that they don't have to manually upgrade. 

      Scenarios

      Customer case 03664379 is where this was reported - customer is installing GitOps via ZTP, but the problem was tracked down to a bug in Kustomize. Upstream issue describing the problem in Kustomize.

      Acceptance Criteria (Mandatory)

      • CI - MUST be running successfully with tests automated
      • Release Technical Enablement - Provide necessary release enablement details and documents.
      • Kustomize version is >= 5.4.1
