Epic Goal

• Fix argocd-image-updater project build and CI failures (https://github.com/argoproj-labs/argocd-image-updater )
• address some low-risk issues and PRs raised in the community
• update certain dependencies to be consistent with argo-cd 
• cut the next release 0.15.0 to keep the project up to date and incorporate recent  bug fixes.

Why is this important?

• argocd-image-update project has had a release for a year. There are quite some community requests for a new release to keep the project up to date and incorporate bug fixes.

Acceptance Criteria (Mandatory)

• all CI jobs should be passing
• all targets in Makefile should work without errors
• argocd-image-updater 0.15.0 be released

Done Checklist

• Acceptance criteria are met
• Non-functional properties of the Feature have been validated (such as performance, resource, UX, security or privacy aspects)
• User Journey automation is delivered
• Support and SRE teams are provided with enough skills to support the feature in production environment
