Description of problem:

Refer the upstream issue https://github.com/argoproj/argo-cd/issues/17607 

We recently merged change https://github.com/argoproj/argo-cd/pull/17804 to application manifest api endpoint for supporting multiple sources. We need to check if the changes merged fixes the issue for ApplicationSet as well or not.{}

Acceptance criteria: 

• Try to reproduce the bug
• If there is no issue then check with the user and close the upstream issue
• If the bug is reproducible, work on the fix and submit a PR for the same
• Add unit/ e2e tests
• The PR is merged
