Test failure | 1-042_validate_status_host [OpenShift 4.10, 4.11]

XMLWordPrintable

    • GITOPS Sprint 240, GITOPS Sprint 241, GITOPS Sprint 242

      Description of problem:

After the PR  https://github.com/redhat-developer/gitops-operator/pull/440 was merged into gitops-operator repository, 1-042_validate_status_host test started failing consistently on other PRs

Initially https://github.com/redhat-developer/gitops-operator/pull//440 and https://github.com/redhat-developer/gitops-operator/pull//481 were the only PRs where this failure was being observed (Both of them contained the same code changes)

The PR was merged even though we observed CI failure with this test on OCP 4.10 and 4.11

Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):

      Steps to Reproduce

Presubmit jobs run on each PR

      Actual results:

1-042_validate_status_host/2-check_URL | Error: Route does not match
      failed in step 2-check_URL
      exit status 1

      Expected results:

      The test should succeed

      Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once):

I have checked around 20 log files from different PRs from flake board, this test always fails on OCP 4.11 and  4.10

      Acceptance criteria:

      1. Above mentioned test should succeed in Openshift CI

      Definition of Done:

      • Acceptance criterias are met
      • Openshift CI does not encounter any flaky tests
