After updating Red Hat OpenShift GitOps Operator in the "latest" Updatechannel to version 1.6.0, Customer has discovered that repositories were deleted in the custom ("not GitOps") ArgoCD instances.

      Additional Info :

      • Customer observing issue with repositories in ArgoCD (Settings -> Repositories)
      • The information about the repositories is saved in secrets.
      • In this secrets every information (e.g. the url) getting deleted except the username and password.
Note : secrets managed by GitOps
      • The secrets are changed and the information "project, url, namespace" are missing.
Because of that the repositories are "deleted"/missing in the GitOps Operator.
This doesn't hit every  repository but the most. In some cases are all repos gone.
      • Operator updated from 1.5.5 via the OperatorHub.
