A route opened for editing from the JMX viewer cannot be saved back into an Eclipse project in the IDE. In fact, it cannot even be saved to the local file system. When the route shuts down the changes are lost.

This does not seem to be very helpful in a development environment where the idea is to be doing debugging of a route that is part of a development project. It also makes the two pieces of the IDE, the route editor and the runtime/debugging tools feel disjointed.
