Removing connections or nodes has no effect on remaining nodes input / output / child attributes

currently a few things are not working correctly in the editor:

1. when deleting a connection between 2 nodes I can't reconnect them because the connection has not been deleted from the model
2. when removing a node which is connected to some other node the connection is not deleted in the nodes model
